The Great Rift Valley Escarpment
This spectacular, 400 meters high escarpment is clearly visible from the park, around the lake to be specific. The long-stretching rift runs across eastern Africa and it is one of the major tourist sights in the region. It’s simply what you would call indescribable beauty!

Best time to visit Lake Manyara
It would never give the same feel to visit Lake Manyara National Park and see no big wild animals. To avoid such an occurrence, then we would advise you to come over in the dry season, between July and October.
Are you a bird lover? Then the period between November and June would serve you right. Beautiful flamingos and pelicans will make your trip very interesting. Other birds include the African fish eagle, black heron, hamerkop, and hornbill among many others.
