Tour Plan
On arrival meet and greet with you tour guide and later transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at The Country inn (BB)
Visit the Gisozi genocide memorial during a walking tour of Kigali. At the 10th anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide, the Kigali Genocide Memorial was unveiled in April 2004. Over 250,000 people were interred following the Rwandan Genocide, and this center is situated on the same site. The cost of ignorance in Africa is clearly reflected in these burials. After lunch, travel to Kinigi, where the famous mountain gorillas are located, as the location serves as a permanent memorial to those who perished in the Rwandan genocide. FB's Five Volcanoes Lodge for dinner and the night
Head to the volcanoes for gorilla trekking after a leisurely breakfast. After a strenuous hike, seeing the gorillas is satisfying. You'll go back to the inn. If your gorilla trek comes to an early end, you can pay extra to OPT to visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. From here, you'll be taken to the ideal spot to see the lakes. Later, return for your overnight stay at Five Volcanoes Lodge FB.
Following breakfast, drive to the Volcanoes National Park to see the Golden Monkeys, and then register and receive briefing at the ORTPN Office. The rarest primates in Africa are golden monkeys. Today, it is thought that the Virunga Volcanoes National Park and Mgahinga National Park in Uganda have the only viable populations of these monkeys. For the remainder of the afternoon, go to Lake Kivu after lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at the Motel Paradise Malahinde (FB)
After breakfast, take a trip from Lake Kivu to Nyugwe. Arrive in the early afternoon for lunch, and then spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge before the colobus hike the next day. At the Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel, for dinner and the night (FB).
With Nyungwe being the only forest in Africa where you can acquire the colobus in large numbers, leave for a colobus trek there after breakfast. In the evening, you can choose to go on a canopy walk in the forest (the canopy walk is not included in the price). A night is spent at the Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel (FB).
The best experience in this forest is chimpanzee trekking, thus transfer to Nyungwe forest. You will unwind beside the lodge in the evening. A night is spent at the Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel (FB).
