Tour Plan

The tour guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel. The Country Inn (BB) will host dinner and your stay.
Take a sightseeing tour of Kigali after breakfast by traveling there. Visit the memorial to the genocide. On April 10, 2004, the tenth anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide, the Kigali Genocide Memorial was opened. This center was expertly constructed over a graveyard in Kigali where more than 250,000 victims of genocide were interred. These burials are stark reminders of the price of ignorance in Africa. An everlasting memorial to the victims of the genocide in Rwanda is located there. It serves as a place where individuals can grieve for loved ones who succumbed to the genocide. There is an ongoing display of the genocide in Rwanda as well as examples of other genocides from across the globe. Transferring to Five Volcanoes Lodge FB for dinner and overnight is the next step.
After eating breakfast and packing your lunch, you should head to the ORTPN offices for registration and briefing. For a thrilling gorilla hike, take a drive to the Volcanoes National Park. Trekkers must be in good physical condition because gorilla trekking can take anywhere between two and ten hours. If the walk requires more time, you can pack a picnic lunch and eat it along the way. After a strenuous hike, seeing the gorillas is wonderful! You'll head back to the inn. If your gorilla trek is cut short early, you can pay an additional fee to visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo (you will be taken here to the greatest viewing location from which to observe the lakes). Later, come back to spend the night at Five Volcanoes Lodge FB.
Afterwards, go to the Volcanoes National Park to see the Golden Monkeys. Have breakfast, then report to the ORTPN Office for registration and briefing. One of Africa's most endangered primates is the golden monkey. The Virunga Volcanoes National Park and Mgahinga National Park in Uganda are presently thought to contain the only viable population of these monkeys. Although it hasn't been confirmed, a smaller group may still reside in the southern Rwandan Nyungwe Forest National Park. The Albertine Rift is home to many different species of guenon, including the golden monkey, Cercopithecus Kandti. Five Volcanoes Lodge: Dinner and Accommodations FB
We'll take you to the graves of the late, well-known American scientist Dian Fossey, who was slain in the Park des Volcans while conducting study on gorillas and other primates. The legendary naturalist Dian Fossey conducted her gorilla studies at Volcanoes National Park, which served as her base of operations. Between Karisimbi and Visoke, she founded the Karisoke Research Centre after arriving in 1967. She'd been spending most of her time in the park ever then. She is largely recognized with bringing the gorillas' predicament to the attention of the world community and preventing their extermination. She was killed at her house in 1985 by unidentified intruders, a tragedy that was frequently blamed on the poachers she had spent her life battling. After the trek, you'll return to the lodge for lunch before driving to Kigali and transferring to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at The Country inn HB. Dian Fossey's vitality research was later made public in the film Gorillas in the Mist, which was based on her memoirs.
