Tour Plan

When you land in Rwanda, a representative from our tours will be there to greet you and take you to Kigali for a city tour (depending on your arrival time). Visit the memorial to the genocide. On April 10, 2004, the tenth anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide, the Kigali Genocide Memorial was opened. This center was expertly constructed over a graveyard in Kigali where more than 250,000 victims of genocide were interred. The cost of ignorance in Africa is clearly reflected in these burials. This location serves as an everlasting memorial to the victims of the genocide in Rwanda. People might go there to grieve for family members who succumbed to the genocide. A representation of comparable genocides from throughout the world is included, as well as an ongoing exposé of the Rwandan genocide. After that, you'll travel to Five Volcanoes Lodge FB in the Volcanoes National Park where you'll spend the night and have dinner.
After eating breakfast and packing a lunch and your gorilla trekking supplies, head to the ORTPN offices for registration and briefing. To experience a remarkable gorilla trek, travel to the Volcanoes National Park. Trekkers must be in shape because gorilla trekking can take anywhere between two and ten hours and can often seem tough. If the walk takes longer than expected, you can pack a picnic lunch and eat it along the way. A pleasant experience is seeing the gorillas after a strenuous journey! You'll go back to the lodge. If your gorilla trek is cut short early, you can pay an additional fee to visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo (you will be taken here to the greatest viewing location from which to observe the lakes). Later, come back to spend the night at Five Volcanoes Lodge FB.
After breakfast, depart for Kigali and enjoy some sightseeing along the way. Afterward, take a transfer to the airport for your trip back home.
