Delta of the Okavango The Okavango Delta, the biggest inland delta in the world, is located in the northwest of Botswana and is a World Heritage Site. The magnificent Okavango River spreads out over the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert, creating this flourishing waterlogged oasis with countless meandering waterways and crystal clear lagoons studded with water lilies, as well as fertile floodplains and reeded islands inhabited with abundant wildlife. More than 15,000 square kilometers make up the Okavango Delta. The Moremi Game Reserve One of the most magnificent reserves in Africa is Moremi Game Reserve, which is located east of the Okavango Delta.
